Week no.9

Wow. Week 9 allready.

Welp last week i started my new Twink Zharvall. He is allready lvl 53 now. I do only dungeons in this run, if i find them while questing. Thats right. No looking for dungeon anymore.

As i didnt do that many Quests in Kalimdor yet, most of the quests are new for me and not boring at all.

My journey lead me to Thousend Needles, Tanaris and Winterfall this week.
Thousend Needles is a area with a lots of water. Thats why you get your own boat for this area only.

Next to Thousends Needles you find the Desert Area Tanaris, with the great Goblin town Gadgetzan.

In Tanaris there is one of my favorite Dungeons Zul Farak. Its a Troll Dungeon where you have to fight the desert Troll Tribe Sandfurys. This is me and my random dungeon group.

At the end of the Tanaris Questing line you learn a bit about the Titans. There I found this mystic writings.

When you finish all thoses quests in Tanaris, you are able to fight in the Thunderdome of Gadgetzan where you meet this Troll. I like this Quest Arena fights a lot. The game told me to bring 2 more players with me, but with the hunter i can take such fights easily on my own.

With level 50 i left the desert behind me and traveled far up to the north to another goblin town called Everleek.

Good luck have fun

Week no.8

I am in the thing people call the "endgame" now. I cant level up any further, but i can level my Item level. So the things I do now are daily quests to get certain stuff like a skydragon (see last blogpost) or other goodies.

This week I finaly got my skydragon and with him i joined the Cloud Serpent Riders.

I defeated the Thunderking. You cant see him in this screenshot. But it looks nice. He wasnt a hard boss. It took us only one try in a LFR Raid.

Now in week 8 i finaly discovered my first real WoW Challange. Or better my first really
multiplayer challange. The second part of the Siege of Orgrimmar Raid, where you have to fight Garrosh the Ex-Horde-Warchief, took me 3 and a half hours to complete. I never experienced
a raid like this before.

Now here is the thing about LFR. The Raid itself is easier than a normal raid. BUT.
You get thrown togehter with 25 random people. From this 25 people maybe 5 to 8 communicate.
The rest is silent. So if you ever tried to play Dota 2 with people who dont communicate at all
you can imagine how difficult it can be to manage a group of 25. Anyway this boss took us 3 trys (personally i had to try him 5 times) until we beat him.

And the next boss two Orc Shamans took us another 3 trys. Anyway 3 and a half hours later it really felt like a acomplishment for nearly the first time of all my dungeon and raiding experience. Welp the endgame.

Besides that. My farm is growing bigger and bigger as you can see here.

And as I am not the guy who does like the endgame the most I did a new twink. A Troll Hunter. And I have to say Hunters are so much more fun to level with than Shamans. Really. If you want to have a fun level experience hunters (or Warlocks) are really the Classes you are looking for. This is Zharval the Hunter. I dont have any Story prepared for him yet. He is level 18 now. I will see how long i will play him. Anyway.

So far so good

Good luck have fun

Week no.7

After all the running from weeks 1 to 6, the things slowed down a bit. In week 7 I did 4 things over and over again.

1. Dailys. Quest you do do achieve certain goals.

The first daily i do is breed my own Skydragon.

The second daily i do is keeping my own farm. Thats very helpful for cooking and stuff.

Than i do a lot of fishing. Witch helps the cooking stuff to and brings gold.

And the fourth thing is raiding. But only "lfr" - looking for raid, which is some kind of easy mode raiding. Its fun though.

After level 90 its all about raising your item level. So the goal is to collect better armory and weapons.

I finaly found a WoW Quest i can not beat, witch is a great thing. I have no screenshots of the quest yet, but i do some when i finaly beat it :)

Good luck and have fun

Week no.6

So much stuff happend in Week no. 6, that i was kind of afraid to write about it. But now its finaly time to do so. First things first. I reached level 90 in week no. 6. I really put all my energie into that goal. When i achived it a big stone fell off of me.

Thats the moment right after i got 90. I got on that stone and looked into the landscape of the Jade Forest in Pandaria. But what happend before i got there?

Well i played through 50% of the Questlines in Pandaria. I ran through the Jade Forest, where I met the Jade Serpent.
I defended the Pandaren Land at Stonepaw (which is basicly a giant chinese Wall, which separates the Pandaren from the Manits Empire (Insect creatures who want to invade and deafeat the Pandaren).

And I found that guy.

He is called the Hidden Master. I had to complete more than 4 big Questlines to finaly find him. That was one of my biggest achiement I got in Pandaria so far.

I also did my first Raid with the guild I am in for about 3 weeks now. We run firelands. The goal was to hunt certain achivements. I had no idea what was going on. But we fought some pretty epic boses.

Besides that I have been in many Pandaren pubs which are awesome.

With level 90 i did deafet my first World boss with a spontanious raid group.

With level 90 done, there is still plenty of stuff to do. What I did after level 90 i will tell you next week.

Good luck have fun

Week no.5

Today my subscription for WoW ended. Now i have to decide if i want to play on or if i stop with WoW. Now let me say the following. WoW aint WoW as it used to be back in the days, when people gave up school or university because the had a raid appointment. It doesnt take a hole year to get from 1 to 60 anymore. The game became more causal (and also does things for the guys raiding hardcore stuff). Personaly I think that is a good thing. I dont like the idea of spending all my year in a game. A single one! (On the other hand... why not?).

Anyway that beein said I think I will play on. Maybe a bit less this month, because I am planing to play through all Warcraft Strategie Titles from 1 to 3 with add ons! I guess I will blog about those things here too.

With level 70 i really got interessted in WoW Lore and startet Questing. For now its my favorite playstyle. I still like to go into Dungeons sometimes. But i really like WoW Quests. In Week 5 a lot of things happend:

First i played through to very epic Quest Lines. The first one play in the underwater zoneVashj'ir
and is the best Questline i played in WoW so far. It has beautiful underwaterlandscapes a cool story and epic moments. You get your own seahorse mount. How awesome is that?

In Vashj'ir you can find two big sea creatures whom are actually demigods if you ask the WoWWiki (http://www.wowwiki.com/Nespirah).

One of the is attacked by the Naga and the other one is also attacked and almost dieing. You enter both of them in the Vashj'ir Questline.

So the next screenshot is kind of unique, because i had to trick the game to get it. You will discover a undersea boat along this Questline. Normally you have to get inside the underseaboat and you dont see very much what is happening outside. But i didnt got into it but was standing on the outside. The questsequence didnt trigger so I had to take the ride again. But it was totally worth it.

I finally found Techies in WoW this week. They can be found in Nordend.

The second Questline I did was in Uldum. There I meet Harrsion Jones and Cat people you struggeld with a Jin sent by Lord Deathwing himself. In this Questline I took that awesome Screenshot. Its a city in the sky kind of. You can only acess it through a dunegon instance though.

A battle in Uldum.

Welp and in week 5 I finally got to level 85 and with that I could travel to Pandaria to see my first real Mists of Pandaria contend.

There I was fighting people of the Alliance and than helping the Ho-zen a ape kinda tribe with one of the funniest NPCs I have seen so far. He is called Riki and is the Ho-zen on the left in the next screen (He is in love with the undead rouge on the right but doesnt know that she is dead :)

My troll of the Week.

Thats it for week no. 5

Good luck have fun

Week no.4

In week four i started my first twink for this year.

This is Rím. Rím is the daughter of a screw factory owner  named Gwarz Drehzahn. He allways wanted his daughter to take over the factory when she is old enough. So she had to work a lot for her father when she was younger. But Rím wasnt interessed in the bussiness of her father. The struggeld a lot. One day she went away from home and left here family. She was still very young and eventually got lost in an era called durotar. Near starvation a wandering shaman found her and took care of her. From this shaman she learned the arts of shamanism. When she was old enough to take care of her self, she thanked the shaman and went out to discover azeroth for here own. She wanted to take the things she had learned to cure the weak and fight for those who are underpressed by the stronger ones. Now she is standing in Orgrimmar reading a piece of paper on the wall which says ...

I level her to level 25 in two days and then switched back to Valrjan. Now i have a twink i can RP with.

With level 70 i started leveling. With 70 you can fly in nordend which is really important. I discovered the race of the Tusken which of course reminded me of Tuskar from Dota. I did all quests i could find from this race. They werent really spectacular but it was something i cared about. Questing in WoW never felt so good until this point. The thing is: Questing only became better form here on.

This is a pirate goblin i stumbled across in one of my Tusken Quests. He thinks he is the greatest pirate captian of all and that he will conquer the seas with his "ship".

Rarly i did some dungeons. Now this is a boss from one of my favorite dungeons so far. A giant spider with a lot of spiderlings (Broodmother).

Now my Troll of the week has to be Mandroki who is a NPC (and might become a Boss later on). With my knew favor for Quests my new goal is to do all Quest who are somewho Troll related. So i did this somehow long low level Quest in Stranglethorn Valley. I resurected this guy from the dead just to be betrayed by him. I think i will meet him again.

Dalarn. The city of mages. I went to Dalarn to start a quest located in Zul'Drak. Zul'Drak is the home of an ancient Troll tribe called Drakkari. The Drakkari where famous for being the most violent tribe of all Trolls. Therefore they got banned from the other Troll tribes. The settelt far north and when the old world burst Zul'Drak in Nordend became there home and they become ice trolls. The quest i started though was about an Arena located in Zul'Drak. The quest said that you would need about 5 heros to play this quest. I didnt care and started the quest alone. I did quite well against the first boss in the arena, when suddenly a PC called Dragonblade came form the sky to aid me. Together we defeated all the bosses the Arena of Zul'Drak threw at us. In the end we where the new Champions of Zul'Drak. That was one of my best moments in WoW so far. It was really tense and spontanious.Thank you Dragonblade again. Your legend will not be forgotten.

Dragonblade beating the hell out of a Tusken Arena Contendor (Boss).

Good luck have fun
